Aagadu jeevi reviewShankar (Mahesh Babu) is an orphan who is adopted by a sincere police officer (Rajendra Prasad). But he is forced to leave and become a cop on his own. Shankar is a powerful police officer who uses unconventional methods to bring criminals to justice. He is posted to a village where Damodhar is building a power plant, which is fiercely opposed by the locals. Shankar finds a personal connection after going to the village. Rest of the story is all about how Shankar sets everything right.
Mahesh Babu’s performance is superb with his acting and dialogue delivery will create sensation among the audiences, with his sharp looks like a powerful police office has impressed the everybody and his body language excellent. His dances with Tamannah is wonderful and he really shown that he is really Aagadu for anything. Tamannah role is limited but she has shown her glamor in dances and in some scenes. Sonu Sood has a Villain is excellent and he has done justice to his role. Bramanandham entry in second part is and comedy is fine. Shruthi Haasan sizzled in an item number and shown her glamor. Nazar, Vennela Kishore and others also done justice to the movie.
Director Srinu Vaitla who has taken responsibility of writer, Screenplay and Direction has casted him heavy and failed to impress the audiences because of bad script of the movie. The Music given by Thaman has filed to impress the fans and audiences. Except introduction song all the songs are waste. Cinematography by Guhan is the plus point of the movie, he created some scene in the movie and it is highlight of the movie. Vijay actions is also good.
The story of the movie is nothing new it is like old wine in a new bottle, the director should have taken different type of story and it is routine like other masala movies, the music is also not up to the mark. There is no comedy in the movie though Brahmanandam was used in the movie.
Director Srinu Vaitla has successfully taken the movie forward but he could not continue the same tempo in the second half however he was able to manage the movie. Mahesh Babu action is no doubt he has done justice to the movie and he is the highlight of the movie. Though Bramanandham was played major role but his comedy is limited however over all the movie is fine it can be watchable.
Punch Line: Aagadu Really Watch It For Prince Mahesh Babu.
