How did they perform?
It may not be an exaggeration to say Trivikram knows best what fans/audience expect from a Pawan Kalyan movie. He makes sure the actor is fit and his character is energy. His comedy timing is rightly exploited. Neeraja Kona’s styling also deserves special mention here. In this movie Samantha and Praneetha were seen as Nadiya’s daughters. Both of them are seen in glamourous role with good scope for performance and they managed it well.
Nadiya (as Atta garu), Rao Ramesh (Nadiya’s husband), Boman Irani, Mukesh Rushi (Nadiya’s brother), Kota (as Siddappa) did what is expected from them. Ali as Nurse is not so effective. Posani manages few laughs as a financier while MS Narayana does full justice to the role of Personal Assistant Bobby. Brahmi as Baddem Bhaskar comes in towards the end of the movie and entertains well. Hamsa Nandini and Mumtaz shook their legs in the pub song. Rest of the characters are okay.
The story of the movie is no mystery. Trivikram’s treatment is also equally simple. But he got the basics of film commerce right. The movie is a good mix of comedy and emotions which helped it. Trivikram slightly disappoints in the dialogues department. He concentrated more on rhyming than the meaning this time.
Devi Sri Prasad as always for Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram did justice for the songs. Back ground score is decent as well. Prasad Murella’s lens work is good and colourful. S.Ravinder’s art work is good as well. Pravin Pudi’s scissors should have worked well in the second half.
The first half of the movie is decent with some good comedy. The interval bang is not so thunderous. The second half started on a slow note but picked up pace with comedy and sentiment scenes one after the otheris high on emotion and also appears like there is a lag around but Brahmi comes in brushes it all. Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram have a winner in their hands. We will have to see how loud the success will be!
